Yet another political rant of mine…
This afternoon, I received a notification from Twitter in my email.
Hi, ******** ***********.
Megawati dan Prabowo (megapro) is now following your updates on Twitter.
What? How do they move on so quickly? They’re moving so fast, so sweepingly (in internet, yeah), just after their declaration for July presidential election. Do they want to want to chase after Kalla-Wiranto’s movement? Hmnnn…
I thought only Yudhoyono-Boediono that using social networks as their campaign media since I realized that SBYpresidenku.Com website is an Obama-wannabe (please take a look at its design).
Note the fact that however, I am glad that presidential candidates start realizing just how precious internet for campaign. But I can’t agree more that Indonesia isn’t ready yet for such method of campaign.

Boediono Strikes Back?

I just watched Yudhoyono-Boediono’s declaration for the July Presidential election. When Yudhoyono read out his political speech, I didn’t see anything special. Yes, I’m not a fan of incumbent president Yudhoyono. But it is truly heartwarming to see the presence of a non-party candidate.
Here you can see the videos. Boediono, the current Governor of Bank Indonesia (or already resigned, huh?), made a speech without text.
And wow, Boediono’s speech is so damn great!
He said government will provide clear and fair rules in economy; government will not completely leave the economy to market liberalism. Somehow, I think Prosperous Justice Party (Partai Keadilan Sejahtera), National Mandate Party (Partai Amanat Nasional), and other Democratic Party’s (Partai Demokrat) coalition-parties accused that Boediono is a neo-liberalist.
“Indonesia membutuhkan pemimpin yang tidak dikotori oleh suap, tidak mau memperdagangkan kekuasaan, tidak mau mencampuradukkan kepentingan republik dengan kepentingan bisnis keluarga.”
I love this part. An implicit criticism after all. But I’m not fond with that flashy ceremony.
Strangely enough, I’m fonder of calm fatherly-figure, eh? Hahahaa, I always end up criticising them more anyway. XD XD
PS: I hate Indonesian syncope-syndrome, ex: SBY, JK, AA, HNW, etc.

A self-reflection.
I have no control over myself.
I always actually do things without thinking.
But I always force myself to be impulsive.
Am I talkative? Indeed.
Am I panicky? True!
THE TRAGIC SITUATION IS NOW, NOT MY PAST!
Whew… I’m not asking question, “What am I?”. I just know I did something wrong when I could’ve done something right. When I try to do something right, it always get messed up somehow. Since I’m feeling pretty much annoyed, I’ll just try again to explore myself. An old song, but it feels kind of relaxing exploring myself.
Lastly, enjoy your time in this boring blog! I do hope your visit in this cold and quiet doesn’t bother you with lasting strange memories of my blog. Haha!

Hello world! This is my second blog after all. I left the old one on blogspot without any updates for nearly one year, hahaa…
I’m Angelina, though I guess you would probably call me Angel or other cute-but-silly nicknames. I currently live in Yogyakarta, waiting for that NATIONAL EXAM. Yes, I’m a high school student, but somehow I think you couldn’t believe that–ah hey, don’t look at my face! It looks so annoying, but okay, I couldn’t resist. My few hobbies are writing, reading, particularly about socialism (never call it communism!). There’s such a lack of good books in my room.
Sigh, I do realise this is getting stupid, fellas…
